So originally I browsed on the topic for 2-3 hours, installed a VM to test it and got nowhere. Logging some information for historical reasons in case anyone else has the same. She is ~ 1400km away and with coronavirus this is really annoying, but even without it would be quite an overkill to travel all the way there to set things up. Is UAC not supposed to work? Now she is not an admin (no malware since then) she gets Uac prompt to enter my password which I wouldn't want to share with her, when I gave her my old computer I forgot to change the password so it's one of my fairly common passwords.Īnyway there's a lot of articles and questions on the web how to log on using Windows credentials, I do that but I don't think the remote side Teamviewer ever restarts with admin privileges, basically I just connect same way and again if I want to do anything meaningful she gets the password prompt and I get the empty screen. Since this is my 70 year old mothers' I sometimes need to help her with stuff.
